Not every project starts with a client brief.
Sometimes the best way to prove what is possible is to just go do it.
We set out to explore what in-studio automotive production could look like at our level of capability, and the VW ID. Buzz was the subject. The goal was straightforward: demonstrate that a vehicle could be placed inside our LED volume and made to feel like it was moving through real environments, with the production value to match anything shot on location.
We built out dynamic driving environments inside the studio and paired them with robotic camera movements designed to match the motion of the vehicle. The result was a sequence that feels alive. The camera moves with the car, the environments respond to the light, and the whole thing holds up at broadcast quality.
For automotive brands and their agencies, in-studio driving sequences solve real problems. No location permits. No weather variables. No uncontrolled lighting. Complete creative control over an environment that would otherwise be impossible to manage. And with previs driving the plan, you know exactly what you are getting before a single shoot day begins.
This one was built to show what is possible. We think it does that.
FROM OUR CLIENT
Working with Storyvox on our fundraising gala videos was a great experience from start to finish. Their team demonstrated a deep understanding of our mission and worked closely with us to bring a heartfelt, emotionally resonant story to life—on time and within budget. Their creative instincts, flexibility, and collaborative spirit made the entire production process seamless. The final video struck exactly the right chord with our donors, creating a powerful emotional connection that elevated the entire event. We couldn’t have asked for a better partner.
