When Planet Fitness needed to film a national commercial featuring ESPN legend Dick Vitale, shutting down a live gym location wasn't an option. Working alongside their agency and WW7 Productions, we built one for them instead.

Our Unreal Engine artist recreated a fully realized Planet Fitness location inside our LED volume studio — built from actual blueprints of real locations. Every detail was accounted for: the layout, the equipment, the lighting, the look. The result was a photorealistic environment that gave the production team complete creative control over a space that, in the real world, would have been impossible to shut down for a shoot.

Filming inside our studio meant no operational disruptions, no location permits, and no compromises. The environment could be adjusted in real time, lighting could be dialed to exactly where it needed to be, and the team could work without the constraints of a live facility.

The spot aired nationally as part of Planet Fitness's March Madness campaign — and nobody watching would ever know they were looking at a gym that only existed in Unreal Engine.
