Spectrum Reach came to us with a big ask: a nationally airing broadcast spot that could capture the energy of sports fandom across multiple environments, seamlessly connected, visually distinctive, and built to perform at the highest level.
We designed four custom virtual environments inside our LED volume studio and mapped robotic camera moves that flowed from one scene to the next without a single cut feeling like a cut. The whole thing was choreographed in previs before we ever stepped on set. Every camera angle, every transition, every lighting cue was worked out in advance so that when shoot days arrived, the team knew exactly what they were executing. That level of preparation is what made it possible to capture everything across just two shoot days.
At the same time, in the Ringling College soundstage next door, we were simultaneously producing a library of sports-themed hype content for Spectrum Reach to own and deploy across their marketing channels. Two productions running in parallel, coordinated to maximize every hour on the calendar and every dollar in the budget.
The commercial airs nationally. The hype content has been used in commercials, digital ads, and was recently broadcast on an LED billboard in Times Square.
It is the kind of project that shows what is possible when previs, virtual production, and smart production planning come together. We are proud of what this one became.
