Overview:

The Storyvox Fellowship is a selective, one-year program designed to accelerate the careers of emerging filmmakers through full-time, paid, hands-on experience inside a professional production studio.

In this position, you’ll work as an active member of our production team, gaining hands-on experience across commercial, branded, and documentary productions.

This position is structured as an intensive, on-the-job training experience where you develop both technical mastery and professional experience as videographers and editors within a fast-paced studio environment.

This program is ideal for recent graduates or emerging creatives ready to accelerate their careers in professional video production.

What You’ll Do

  • Operate cameras on commercial and branded productions

  • Edit projects using DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Creative Cloud

  • Assist with lighting, audio, and production setup

  • Support studio and on-location productions

  • Organize media, manage project files, and assist with post-production workflows

  • Contribute creatively to storytelling, shot composition, and editing decisions

  • Learn professional production workflows from concept through final delivery

Overview
This internship is designed for aspiring filmmakers and creatives looking to gain real-world experience across all stages of production. Interns work alongside our team on commercial, branded, and documentary projects, both in our virtual production studio and on location.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with pre-production tasks such as research, storyboarding, and shoot preparation

  • Support production on set, including camera, lighting, audio, and general grip assistance

  • Assist with post-production tasks including editing, media organization, and project prep

  • Help maintain studio equipment and production spaces

  • Observe and learn professional production workflows from concept through delivery

Qualifications

  • Base-level familiarity with video production workflows

  • Experience or coursework in cinematography, editing, or related fields

  • Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve and/or Adobe Creative Cloud preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

  • Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment

Virtual Production Assistant

Location: Storyvox Studios — Sarasota, FL

Overview
This internship provides hands-on experience inside a professional virtual production studio. Interns work directly with our Virtual Production team to help build, operate, and manage real-time environments used in commercial, branded, and narrative productions.

This role is ideal for students and emerging artists interested in Unreal Engine, real-time filmmaking, and the future of virtual production.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with virtual set creation and environment preparation in Unreal Engine

  • Support previs and scene layout for upcoming productions

  • Help operate and manage virtual production systems, including real-time camera tracking

  • Assist with LED volume setup, calibration, and operation

  • Organize and manage digital assets, projects, and scene files

  • Support live shoots involving virtual environments and real-time rendering

Qualifications

  • Experience with Unreal Engine (required)

  • Familiarity with real-time rendering, 3D environments, or game engines

  • Basic understanding of filmmaking, cameras, or production workflows preferred

  • Strong technical curiosity and problem-solving mindset

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
